The Shortest Ingredient List Is the Hardest to Formulate

Our serums contain between seven and nine ingredients. That is not a limitation. It is the result of five years of development, where every ingredient had to earn its place through real performance on real skin.

This page explains every single ingredient in our formulations: what it does, why we chose it, and which products it appears in. If an ingredient is not on this list, it is not in your serum.

Physical Protection

The formula and the dispenser were developed as one system. What touches your serum matters.

The Dispenser

Airless Precision System

Formula and dispenser were developed as one system. The airless twist-lock mechanism eliminates air, UV light, and finger contamination - so we need no extra stabilisers or preservative boosters. This is why every formula stays at just 7 to 9 ingredients.

PP (Polypropylene)

Inner Cartridge

The inner cartridge holding your serum is made from Polypropylene, one of the safest materials available. FDA-approved for food contact. 100% BPA-free. Chemically inert. Replaceable as part of our refill system.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

Outer Shell & Pump

The outer shell and precision pump are crafted from ABS, a durable, BPA-free material chosen for its premium soft-touch finish, UV protection, and longevity. The airless twist-lock mechanism eliminates air exposure, keeping the serum pure.

Made without BPA and phthalates.

Skincare Is Not Just an Ingredient List. It’s Formulation Architecture.

Two serums can have an identical ingredient list and deliver completely different results. The INCI tells you what is inside. It does not tell you how it was made. And the how is everything.

Same ingredients, different results.

Think of it like cooking. If you put the pasta in first and then the water, or use lukewarm water instead of boiling hot, or cook it for too short or too long, you will not get delicious pasta. Even if every single ingredient is top quality. The order matters. The temperature matters. The timing matters. Skincare formulation works exactly the same way.

What formulation architecture actually means.

The order in which ingredients are introduced changes how they interact. The temperature at which they are blended determines whether molecular structures stay intact or break down. The timing between each step allows ingredients to stabilize before the next one is added. The ratio of each component decides whether the final product absorbs cleanly or sits on the surface.

The 2.5% challenge.

It would be easy to put 7% Hyaluronic Acid on the label. Higher numbers sell. But getting 2.5% to absorb cleanly, without leaving a sticky film on the skin, while keeping three molecular weights stable and effective without using strong preservatives - that is the hard part. That took years of adjusting the architecture until the formula behaved exactly the way Claudia needed it to behave on real skin.

You can read the list. You cannot copy the process.

This is why formulation architecture cannot be copied from an INCI list. You can see our seven to nine ingredients on the bottle. You cannot see the five years of process development that make them work together.

Formulated Without

What is not in a formula matters as much as what is. We excluded 14 entire categories of ingredients deliberately. These are formulation choices, openly shared.

Nothing hidden. Nothing unnecessary.

When your formula has only seven to nine ingredients, there is nowhere for fillers to hide. Every ingredient is exposed. Every concentration matters. Every interaction has been tested.

With 20 or 30 ingredients, a weak performer can disappear in the crowd. With seven, each one carries the full weight. That is why it took Claudia five years, not to add more, but to prove that less was enough.

That is the discipline of formulating with less. And it is exactly why a shorter ingredient list is harder to create than a longer one.

Less, but better, is more.
